Botched Vdd Mod

I managed to rip off one of the legs of the little voltage regulation chip, and don't feel like paying epox $60+shipping to fix my 1.1 8RDA+. I'd like to find a place to buy this little chip and do the repair myself. Any recommendations? If anyone has a dead board, it could be removed off that as well...

besides, i don't think epox will fix that kind of a problem

in conclusion, try to solder it yourself, but if you can't, then its time for a new mobo.

it Back in August I had a similar problem in the link below I was able to fire it up and it worked but it was killing processors like crazy. It could have been another problem though. Give it a try with a processor that you really dont care. Do it at thy own risk.!!!

no hes saying if you mess up fixing it you will may have a serial CPU killer on your hands.
