Ok. Hopefully I am going to get the ATI 9600XT when it ships. Obviouselly, I want to overclock it. My system is nice and fast, and the only bottle necks are 1. My video card (GeForce 3) and 2. My stinkin PC133 memory. Anyways, I was wanting some suggestions on a good cooling fan that I could stick on the side of my video card. (hepefully something I can find in Best Buy or somewhere local) Also, I was wondering how in the world do I mount the fan on there? And I know this sounds stupid, but I really dunno which chip on my card to put it on! Thanks for your time.
BTW, 2.0 P-4
768MB PC133
^my system^
is it even worth getting a new card and overclocking it? I know my 2.0GHZ is fine, but man, PC133!
Are you saking for a fan to put on the side of the card, or a case fan to blow on the card? Got me kinda confused there
If its to attatch to the side of the video card...as far as i know, there are none. Now if you mean to take the stock cooler off and replace it with something, i would say to wait and see how the stock cooler does, as it should be more then enough

Do you think a few good care fans blowing ON (pushing air to it) would be enough to keep it cool? I can't risk frying anything. Also, when you push it a little past it's limit, will the system just be unstable? Like I said before, I CAN'T risk frying/breaking anything.

iv never replaced a stock fan on a gpu and have never had a problem overclocking the card...if you have a average case fan 25-35 cfm on it there shouldnt be a problem. If you overclock too much your system will be unstable but you will notice if it is..ie games locking up, artifacts, ect.
