Hi there

Thanks to Marshy for his assitance, as I bought his vapochill case from him to have a play with.

Well after adjusting the hosing so that it drops perfectly into position, we tried it on my 1Ghz AXIA processor. This chip ran 100% stable 1680Mhz, I then added an extra quiet 120mm fan to blow across the radiator, which droppped the temps by a further 4c, resulting in my underload temps been approx -7c. I was then able to push the CPU to a stable 1690Mhz, and run benchmarks around 1710Mhz. A nice 71% overclock!!

I was not happy with this, so I decided to try the 1.4Ghz AYHJA 200FSB processor I had, I managed to push this CPU all the way to 1830Mhz, with the extra fan on, resulting in underload temps of approx -6c.
I was also using the amazing EPOX 8K7A+ motherboard too, which I have managed to push to 200Mhz FSB (400Mhz DDR), check my review out here of that board over on the OcUK forums:-
My EPOX 8K7A+ Review @ OcUK (http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?threadid=32900)
I must note I am an employee of OcUK and a moderator of their forums, if I have violated the rules then please remove the link but not my post, thanks.

I must note that if you take your time, and maybe get a friend to assist you, attaching the hose from the vapochill to your CPU is a safe/easy process if you take your time, I have not damaged any of my CPU's yet, touch wood.

I hold the worlds highest Geforce 2 Ultra scores for 3D Mark 2000 & 2001, which I am very proud off.

I am very impressed with the overall performance of this system, and have it running at 1805Mhz 24/7, and SETI WU's appear to be going through at sub 3:30 hours.
I am waiting to get a final BIOS release for the EPOX 8K7A+, which should hopefully give me better performance and added stability, you never know I might hit 250FSB out of the board with some cooling mods on the northbridge and mosfets.
I am also gonna bridge the L7 connector, and go for 2.2 volts vcore.
Hopefully after the mods to the motherboard and CPU, and do a better job of fitting the evaporator, I will be able to push for 1850Mhz stable. :)

Please ask any questions you have as I will be happy to answer and assist anyone if I can.

Hi there

I need a little help if possible please, of the moderator from these forums called Daniel I think, as he also has a vapochill case.

Currently I am running at 1800Mhz+ at 2.1 volts vcore, and get steady temps of around -5c, however I am not using the heater pad. I have insulated the socket with thermal compounds as per the instructions, and it has ran for the past week all OK.

My questions:-
1. Is it safe to run my setup without this heater pad?
2. Will it effect my temperatures displayed at the front of the case and my max stable overclock?
3. Will my setup create enough heat to prevent condensation and corrosion on the pins, without the heater pad?
Thanks in advance.

from madonion.com or do a search at download.com- they are called RC5 and SiSoft Sandra. Both are freeware

WOW! That's an awesome setup, How much does a vaporchill setup cost. I'll bet it is way out of my budget. I wonder what score you could get with a geforce 3. I couldn't even imagine having a setup that good. Think you could ever get to 2ghz? :)

Hey, I have a question. I am going to run two 15gb IBM 75GXP hard drives raid 0 with the Promise FastTrack100 TX2. How is that running? Any hitches? Do you see a large gain in performance?
