Ok man..I got this RAM..
HyperX 3200 2-2-2-6-1 512MB.
Well..for one with my 1600+ @ 1.4ghz, DDR is at 400mhz and it defaults to 2-2-2-8-1. I can lower DDR to 333, and take it to 2-2-2-6-1.
Two, if I have my CPU @ 1.9ghz(181x10.5), it wont post with the new RAM @ 362mhz. It wont post @ AUTO either.(It would with my CRAP 2700!)
I can only go to 149x10.5 and it goes to like 440mhz and it will still post, but at the 2-2-2-8-1.
I guess I am just curious why it can go to 440+mhz, or to 333mhz with a lower CPU speed, but anything above a 150x10.5 and it wont post(at any memory settings). It IS the ram because that is the only thing I changed.
I think it may be defective due to it not going to 2-2-2-6-1 like it is supposed to.
Could it be my motherboard though? A7V8X. How are those new Nforce3 boards? ;) Could it be my CPU, its only a 266 FSB CPU...
I dont know what to do :(
I now have to run my CPU @ 1.5 at most so its at 1.4 not even overclocked...and my benchmarks in everything were higher with my crap 2700 and higher CPU speeds.
