humm....i very enw in athlon and recently just switch from intel to AMD. i brought a t-birb 1.33 AYHJA and oc it with water cooling. at the first, it won't even post higher then 1.5G even i bump the Vcore to 1.85V. and the temp was just 40C max out at load with 1.5. i try different combination between multiplier and FSB, but still won't post. so i try to burn in, after a day it work and get me to as high as 1.6G. now the question is i'm using 11x 145. can i use 12x133?? or 10.5x152?? usually what setting will you all bump up first?? multiplier or fsb??
For testing the cpu I like to stick with multiplier adjustment until I can see what the cpu will do. Once you know about what it will do then try to get the highest FSB you can get without pushing your processor much over speck. Once you know what FSB and multiplier then you can get a good Idea what to set your FSB and multiplier at. I would only raise the voltage once you are sure everything is working ok.

Once I have made a major modification to my system I usually:
1) Find the highest possible multiplier that will give me a safe boot
2) Drop the multiplier to the stock setting and see how far I can raise the fsb
3) Set the the multiplier to one setting below the highest I can boot - Set the fsb to 1/2 the max I could boot at - and then go up or down from there
In my opinion ... fsb increases result in a higher perceived speed and performance but multiplier increases ... ahhh that's the stuff of glory and legend. So I go for a balance of both.

yes id up the multiplier to see the ihighest possible speed- that stresses the cpu less then a higher FSB (along with the rest of the components) then once youy get the highest stabel speed -reset the multiplier to default and try to hit the same speed with FSB adjustments- you might have to raise the multiplier 1 notch but dont go jacking up the FSB immeadiatlye by 30 or so-paitence didnt hurt
