is 35C hot as a mobo temperature?

sensor 1 shows the mobo temp
sensor 2 shows the cpu temp

noticed i dun have the same speed noted in the picture then the one in my signature because the chip wont run that fast since the temps outside are now a lot hotter....but this is not the max speed it will run, it's the first thing i selected

my rig is in my signature

plz plz help, thx

you are fine! remember it is summer and your body temp is 37C so you aren't really hot only 99F or so.

What's your room temp?

If your case is well vented your mobo temp should not be more than 7C or so more than room temp. I think your case needs better ventalation unless your room temp is like 30C?

By the way nice background!! ;-)

Castle Lager, how are you using an 11.5 multiplier on an FIC AD11 board?

I have an FIC AD11 and the only multiplier choices I have are 10, 10.5, 11 and 12.

Mad Capr.

If you are at 1.52 GHz you are probably already at 11.5 multiplier as the FIC is not good at all ocing the FSB.

Anyway the mutiplier dip switch does allow for a wide range of setting from 6-12.5 I think. Its documented in the manual. I think its DIP no 2 on and everything else (1,3,4)off. But please see the manual first. If you dont have the manual there is an electronic copy on the www.fic.com.tw website.

I'm running 11 x 138 right now 1518mhz to be exact, but I call it 1.52. heh.

actually my room temp is around 28-30C

so is that ok?

and
i have duct taped two fans, one pci slot card suckin out air and one panafalo 5400rpm suckin air in onto the thing that holds the motherboard

i also taped the holes on the plate and now my mobo temp is 28C
is this good and is this even safe?

hmmm
i m just wondering if i add another pair of fans doing the same thing will that cool down the temp even more?
btw i m running without any covers, i ripped off the top one and removed the side ones
the case looks like it's falling apart but it works
hehe

Unless you plan to overclock more ( im sure that you do ) then id leave everything as is- i mean why fix it if your not gonna push any farther- as long as its stable then leave it- i mean something always happens when you get too much of a good thing. otherwise that temp is great lower than room even!!
