I was running my computer at 810 Mhz because I fried my last Duron 600@952 and I have been real scared to overclock since. Although I thought I would see what I could get out of this chip since its been at 810 Mhz for a couple of months now. I got 896 (112 x 8 ) at 1.8 Vcore and 3.7 VIO. The weird thing is the temps are almost identical to before. My idle changed for 26 to 28, and my load actually went 46 from 45. Whats up with this. Before my Vcore was 1.7 and my VIO was 3.6. Since my temps are about the same it runs rock solid at 896 Mhz is there any reason that this will fry again like my last one. I will admit there were some instabilities when I was running my Duron 600@952, but it was relitivaly stable. My mom will get here own computer in a few days, made from leftovers from this computer and my brothers, so can I go ahead at this temp. Also I want this thing to last about a year at least so if its going to shorten the life a lot then I dont want to do it.
