Alright, i have a AMD Athlon t-bird 1ghz that is supposed to run at 266FSB. But what i have setup is 10x multiplier and 100FSB..is this right? Or should i switch it to 133FSB. If i should switch it to 133FSB, what would the multiplier be?

The default is mostlikely 10x100. You can increase the FSB if you like. Though you might have to play with the mulitplier to dial it in. If your going to leave it factory just set your mobo to default core volts and multiplier.

Go into the bio's and change the FSB from 100 to 133.

Are you sure? Does anyone else have any objection? But 7.5x133=997.5 . Isn't it supposed to equal 1000? Does anyone else here have an Asus A7V133 motherboard with a AMD Athlon t-bird 1000mhz 266fsb CPU? If so, what are YOUR settings for multiplier and FSB...
Any suggestions?

It is actually 7.5x133.33333333333333333=1000.
but the real fsb speeds vary by several percent so the numbers are approximate my 9x100 usually benchmarks at about 907.
Hope this aleviates your concerns. :)

So you saying that my multiplier should be 7.5, and the FSB should be 133?

Yes, for a 1Ghz "C" T-Bird the nominal settings are Multiplier of 7.5 and FSB of 133Mhz.
