I run my TBird 850 @ 1000 by running it at 100 x 10. Thought I might get a bit more out of it by running it at 9.5 x 105 or 9 x 110, but no. It crashes and freezes windows, both 2K and 98 S.E when I raise the FSB.
Any ideas why?

Anyway just bought a 1.2Ghz TBird, arriving on Monday. Whats sort of settings do people reccomend?

If its any help I have seen greater stability when using multipliers than the FSB. It seems as though other devices are suspect when you o/c the fsb and it crashes. I've been told unrelable reads and writes have happened though the FSB o/c you will see a greater increase in performance if you can stablize it.
