View Full Version : AHYJA ,AXIAR,AXIA
I know the Axia is the best for OC'ing but are the others ok?I went to buy a chip today and I already have 2 1.2 AXIA chips but I want a 1.3 and all they have is an AHYJA and another I haven't heard about at all.Is it worth getting it?Also is the AXIAR better than the AXIA?

not sure bout the axiar, but i hear that the axia 1.33 overclocks way better than the new ahyja stepping also the 1.4 gig ahyja dont seem to overclock as well as the 1.33 axia
my 1.2 Axiar won't do a 11x133 post so I would go with the ahyja but I think the r's run cool my is at 1.4 with 43C under load. I touched my heatsink and it was still ice cold after running burn in from sisoft.
AYHJA chips kick ass - the only reason they arent as well known as AXIA's is because the name isn't as catchy <sigh>
Hands down my current 1.33 AYHJA is better than the two 1.0 AXIA's I previously had (altho admittedly it would be fairer to compare the same speed grades)..
Currently running fine at 1550 (1.85v). I havent even pushed the limits of this sucker either - it runs great at 1650, but my air cooling is starting to hit its limits..
combine one of these with water cooling and you're away..

axiar is supposed to be better than axia, something is wrong with yours.
thanks but I will up the vcore and i/o and see if it helps. I hope I don't have a loser I really was hoping for 11.5x133 and pushing the fsb from there up to 1.6 or so(139x11.5) was more what I was thinking maybe I can still get 148x10.5 for 1550 and still use the onboard sound.

Well all you can do is buy what is believed to be the best code. And hope you can get it as high the next guy.As every chips is different regardless of what code it is. I've got an AXIA 1.2 gig and as of right now can't get it stable over 1.45ghz. But I'm still working out cooling issues. Thats why I have it at 1.3 ghz right now. So that could change. I
