Tell me what core i go please??

I burned my classic slot 600(650) core, then bought a slot tbird 750, and finally cracked it open to see what the core was - is a darn 750 - i was hoping for an 800 but o well- anyway i used ot have a green classic core, and heard that the newer birds were blue- well my core is red- no doubt about it its red- no green of blue not even close so hwo good are the red cores, and this is the code could you tell me the details about the core-

Well its kind of hard to tell what it will do until you try. I really don't know much about the slot T-birds since the socket chips were out about the same time. I have heard good and bad about the red cores. I have a red duron 600 that will do 1100 @ 2.11v but I have no Idea what a red slot T-bird will do. Since the slot T-bird has no external cash it will be a better overclocker than your old athlon. 900 is what I am guessing you will get if you have good cooling. Overclock it and let us know how it turns out.

Well i have had it @ 900 with a GFD- and a GORB- 120mm fan added for intake and a 90mm added for exhaust running with side off- but i think itll do a gig-just wandering bout the core color and the details like what is the CPRFEA that is not a stepping is it?
