I am in the middle of a fact finding mission regarding Tigerdirect, and I am not at all pleased that they are not paying their bills to DTEK Customs.

I've had a beef with Tigerdirect for some time, and just when I think they are starting to make some progress in terms of customer support. Last week I read about why TigerDirect was selling DTEK waterblocks for under $20. I investigated a bit and Finally spoke to Danny at DTEK this week. DTEK has always been good to the Overclocking community and from what I have learned I am not pleased at all. In fact since DTEK is located in California and TigerDirect is in Miami this complicates things a bit. But I did tell DTEK that I will personally help then in any way I can, even if it means filing any papers in Court in Miami on their behalf. This will save DTEK a few dollars in attorney fees. I truly hope it doesn't come to that and I hope Tigerdirect does the right thing, as I do not like to see people being screwed.
Danny is a nice guy and anyone that has met him, or done business with him will tell you the same thing.

In this cut throat world regarding PC parts Vendors, word of mouth goes along way, and I have a big mouth.

If only i could use my connections in forensics and law enforcement to help. Alas, there is no investigating that needs to be done....

I support any sort of boycott movement of Tigerdirect ...

seems like people around bargains sites are saying similar things about how awful their service can be, how they never got most of the rebates ... and the list goes on ...

Free with rebates you will never get back and shipping that will bring the price back up to normal. Such a poor company, its amazing they have stayed around this long.

The funniest thing a Tigerdirect customer support SUPERVISOR ever said to me was, " Newegg has such a HIGH RESELLERRATING (http://www.resellerratings.com/seller2121.html) rating because Newegg customer support personel sit around all day leaving themselves evals" I told him he was incorrrect, their resellerrating is so high because they go above and beyond in customer support. The Tigerdirect supervisor then hung up..... :(

lol i actually know the guy who used to own tigerdirect, he sold it off to another major corp for a bunch of money and garunteed himself as manager there, i used to buy stuff from them when he owned the place and got a discount, but never had any problems with them, ever since they went on tv and started selling barbottom , suposedly good systems, when i knew they were slow, no oc'able pcs with bottom dollar parts...
