View Full Version : Appalling 2k1 score
I've recently managed to get my hands on a Saphire 9800 Pro 128Mb, and though I'd benchmark it to see what it could do. The rest of my system is as per sig below. Thing is, I have this nagging feeling that 12111 is a tad under par....
This is using Car 3.9, on Win2k
Bearing in mind this is all at stock, am I right in assuming this is too low?
Just realised, thats 200 points less than I was getting with the 4800SE!
Oh, and it should be Cat 3.9s, not Car!

you gave me the wrong link
Well, if the system is totally stock, including the SETTINGS (not clock speed) on your video card, that is a pretty normal score. Try taking the setttings down as far as they go and it should give you about a 4-5 thousand point boost.
Changing the settings for the vid card (ie OpenGL & D3D settings) make no difference at all. But yes, everything else is at stock.
Is this the correct link?
