View Full Version : overclocking a 1.33ghz AYHJA
I am using a 300 watt power supply and when I overclocked today, my computer would go to load windows and then restart itself. Is this because I'm not getting enough power?

First, how high did you try and go? I would start small and work my way up. Starting with the FSB and make small moves, checking system stability every time, as well as watching your temps. When you hit the wall or limit, then return your FSB to where you started and start raising your multiplier, til you hit the limit. Again checking stability and TEMPS. After doing this you can raise your FSB to its limit and recheck. If you would like to Overclock a bit more, you can raise your voltage up. Going from 1.75 to 1.85 should allow you a little more of an overclock. But always keep an eye on your temps...
Goodluck and keep up posted of your results.
