I recently purchased an NF7-S rev2 to replace my 8RDA, and went to WinXP from Win2k. My CPU overclock went from 200x12=2400mhz to 215x11.5=2473mhz. I got the 8RDA to 200 after a volt mod and mosfet plus southbridge cooling. Stock it wouldn't break 185. I have yet to do any mods to the NF7, but I'm hoping for at least another 15 or so mhz FSB. My 9700pro overclock went from 353/324 up to 372/335.
The strange part is that my framerates and 3DMark scores are lower now than before. With w2k and the 8rda I could pull 18,150 on 3dm2k1. With the "upgrades," The most I've gotten is 17,700. It just seems like the increases I achieved in raw numbers should be more than enough to compensate for any WinXP-W2k differences. I guess I should be happy that I can play Halo at 1280*1024 at 60mhz Vsync with 2xAA, so it doesn't really matter, but its kind of annoying.
