Hey!
I got a cool P1/AMD-K6 mobo , but the bios chip is half dead.
The problem is that it doesnt lemme boot.
when it should boot it sais "Writing DMA Pool Data"..
And stack.
Is there any way to fix it?
its really importand to me, coz with this mobo i can OC my p/166MMX proc up to 250 (66*3.5)OR(80*3.5).

I'd say clear the CMOS first, then if that doesnt help go into bios if possible and check all settings are right.
If it is still dead, try getting a new cmos battery.
Can you boot from floppies?
 
Thats the problem, i have a good batery, i cleared the CMOS, i tryed to put everything out (all PCIs) i left with only 1 video card and floppy, and i still cant boot from floppy or anything else.
The settings are correct, i even tryed to disable bios shadowing, and couple of things wich can make the problem but it didnt help.
