I have been trying to get this chip to go to 1.4 and beyond, but I'm all out of ideas. I tried different memory settings and voltage settings up to auto (1.89v). I've reseated the Glaciator with ASII when I checked the codes. When I set it to 10.5 x 133 with the memory set at the lowest speed it will post but Win2k freezes at startup. My idle temps at 1.3 with 1.70v in the bios (MBM reports 1.79v) are around 31c, with f@h, temps are highest at 48C, ambient temps are around 24C. I have the side of the case open and have a Panaflo 120mm intake fan and a Sunon 90mm in the rear of the case blowing out. The enermax pws also has a fan above the cpu removing the hot air from the case. Any ideas?

Try this:

I don't know if it will work, but I had the same problems on my Kt7a and my 1.2/200 tbird at anything higher than 1400. I installed the pci latency patch and everything worked as it should have. WIn2k is kinda finicky.

this might be the same but go into the BIOS and under PCI latency clocks- im willing to bet its at 32, change it to 64 and see if that helps

my Axiar Y does 10.5x133 but won't post at 11x133 I guess the patch would not help me reach 1466 at default try uping voltage and i/o voltages.

Thanks for your suggestions.

rugby,
I couldn't find the patch on this page. I did read up on the fixes via Wpcredit and Wpcrset. Is this the same as the patch discussed on the web page?

Jason,
Unfortunately my bios does not allow me to change the PCI latency clocks. I would have to use the patch as suggested above or do it myself via Wpcrset.

I'm beginning to think that it might be a temperature issue also. When I start up f@h, once the temp climbs past 43C, I am unable to use my dsl connection any longer. It says network error until I shut down f@h and the temp goes down again.
