i need your help again dudes, sisoft still tells me from 19-21 degrees C even under load,BIOS tells me in pc health statis anywhere upto 38 C. so whats the right 1? i got a digidoc but im too lazy to set it up,its not so user friendly to set it up, needs time and more thinking[im tired of thinking the last week!] so im hoping some of you pro's can give me your thoughts please, and my ambient temps in sisoft are upto 26 C...................let me know thanks
This probably should be in the cooling forum.
Your results indicate .16c/w at 70-75W. That is way better than the established the capacity of the WBK-38, so I'd say that perhaps you should "suck it up" and get going on that Digital Doc. That is, if you want more accurate temp readings. If the Digital Doc comes with those ribbon style thermistors, you can slip it between the HSF baseplate and the CPU surface in to where it nudges right up against the core. That will get you a much more accurate reading of the actual core temp than an in-socket thermistor. Don't be real surprised if the temp is higher.

Your 38C temp reading is more accurate. Sisoft is probably reading the wrong chip.
Going with the digital doc is the best way to know your temps.
You might also try MotherBoard Monitor. It will read the insocket thermistor just like the BIOS.
AMD Guy made me think of something. Don't use either MBM or Sandra to read you in-socket thermistor. Use VIA HM that came with your motherboard. That is what I use with my KT7A. It identifies the sensor correctly and tends to be pretty accurate. Kick up Prime95 Torture and watch VIA HM as it runs. Tell us what you see for a CPU temp then.

well the via hardware monitor works great, its telling me that CPU is 29 -32 in the last 5 minutes and system temp is 22 c. well that better and thanks for the idea.
just another question to you both off topic if i may? this overclock to this system is only about 4 days old, for 10.5 X 140 as an overclock ,what is your recommended core voltage? thanks again
what do you think of my temps? [ i ask alot dont i? hehehe

The reccomended core voltage is as low as possible. Test different voltages until you find the lowest you can go and still be stable. Your temps sound much more like idle temps than load temps... if those temps are at 100% load then your sensor is way off.
