WOOHOO its great to be back to AMD!!!! but..... upon looking at the L-1 that I thought I would have to solder, they are all connected..... Now, Im the kind of guy to take yes for an answer, but I am curious are all 1.4G tbirds unlocked? or did AMD change the L-1? (certainly not) any help would be much appreceiated, as I only wanna mount this puppy once :> thanks Jim

welcome and sorry to tell you that you aren't the only one with a unlocked 1.4. I think all the 1.2 and higher that are c type are coming unlocked but I still think you are lucky to get the AYHJA Y stepping keep us informed as to how high she will go.

Thats fine, I can take yes for an answer LOL, I will keep ya'll updated... (aaarrrggghh! the wait for parts sucks) Ifanyone else is lookng for one, AYHJA "Y" cores are avail at iComPz.com (pricey @ $169) but I think well worth it to get a guarenteed AYHJAY.... sigh.... I can't wait to get AJ running and curse my mom with my current P!!!... :> Thanks again el... Jim

i don't know about 1.4's.... but i just got a 1.33 AYHJA today that was already unlocked. i looked and looked but couldn't find the cut on the L1 bridges. i unlocked a 1.2 AXIAR a couple of weeks ago. so, i know that i could see the cuts if they were there. by the way, i did use a magnifying glass.
