 I just got an Enermax UC-A3FATR2 fan controller/lcd for my new Antec slk3700 case. The controller has 2 (4)pin,2 (3) pin, and 2 small temp leads. My questions are:

Where would be the best place for the temp leads?

Would it be safe to reduce the speed of the 7000 rpm fan on my heatsink (the thing is a screamer)?

Any info from the learned forum-geniuses would be appreciated.:D

I don't see any reason why it would be unsafe to throttle down your 7000 rpm fan. As for the leads, under the heatsink if they're thin enough. You don't want it holding the sink above the die. And of course, don't put it between the die and the cpu.

How many remote temp sensors do you have? (4) .Tape 1 to the
side of the CPU w/thermal tape.It usualy comes w/the controller.
You could put one on your north bride HS. Maybe one on your ram.And one on your video card HS.Just a few Ideas.

Thanks. I have 2 sensors (my mobo monitors cpu and northbridge), I'll try for the RAM and vidcard.

Appreciate the advice. :)
