View Full Version : Best board for Athlon 64

I am not really up on the 64 yet,can anyone tell me if it is worth the upgrade now,or should I wait.
And if so which board shoud I get ?
Winter is coming and I am ready to ear into this thing:D

its a good idea to wait a little bit for A64. AMD is going to start using the Socket 939 package for its A64's sometime next year. Also, DDR2/PCI Express are going to start appearing relatively soon, and those will need time to mature as well. All in all, wait it out a bit longer :)

Thanks,I was thinking that after I read up on some of the new stuff.
Hopefully the prices will come down some too:D
