Ok... When i want to install anything or run anything from a cd the following error occurs

Heading of the message : 16 Bit Windows Subsystem

message" config.nt. The system file is not suitable for ruuning MS-Dos and mircosoft applications....

Now... some how, deep in my registry the file that sayz that everything is run in 32bit changed to 16bit - well that is what i have been told- but if it is not true then what is the problem and how can i go about fixing it...

a friend of mine. send a email to MS in Ireland asking them about the problem but they havent got back to him yet....

any help is much appreicated...

No-one has any ideas? Must I phone Bill Gates and ask him what the problem is then?

Seriously - Is this like a problem that no-one has evey seen or heard of?
