Well, ever since Friday, my comp has been freezing, and saying that Explorer has stopped responding. After restarting a couple of times, a black screen comes up saying:
While initializing device CONFIGMG:
Windows Protection Error. You need to restart
your computer.
After that, my computer would restart, run Scandisk, and then go into Safe Mode. This process would repeat over and over again until my computer finally made it past the start-up sound, without freezing or saying that Explorer wasn't responding. Any help would be appreciated. Btw, I have Win 98.
