Picked this up at [H]. Its a great deal at Dell for a Planar 17" LCD Monitor. $310.00! Thats cheaper than my BenQ was! Both plug types, 16ms response time, 400:1, its a good one from what I can see. Comes in both black and silver models.

If this is an actual response time of 16ms rather than the trick that some places use when they say 16ms response time (but meaning 16ms rise time not including fall time) then this has some great potential. Would love to hear some results from this thing. And yeah, was cheaper than my NEC 1760 as well heh.

yea, my friend has a monitor exactly like this, VERY blurry. would hate to spoil this deal but it's blurry when i see it.

Typically when I have seen a blurry LCD monitor it has been because the person is not running it at its native resolution. Is your friend running his at the native res? I mean my NEC looks spectacular at native 1280 x 1024, but at 1024 x 768 it is blurry too =/

Too, as I found out last night when I looked-up my monitor order on their site, Dell doesn't automatically notify the buyer when an item ships. One has to sign-up for the service in order to receive notification.

OMFG!!!! its Saturday already, and my order is still "InProduction". Im starting to think that they marked the price wrong on these monitors, and their deciding if whether they'll honor the error or not.

Either they made an error and are deciding whether to honor it or not, or they had such a huge amount of purchases that they are struggling to fill the orders. Could always call them to see why it hasn't shipped yet :)

actually, went to dell forums and this monitor has a lead time of 60 days. a lot of people were ****ed, and I've just cancelled my order. I'll never buy from dell ever again :mad:

apparntly theres a 60 day backorder for this item =d hehe i guess ill be on the waiting line.. cuz teh replacement is a NEC 18 inch LCD wiht 30 ms reponse time =|
