ok...as you can read below i have a FOP38...i increased my voltage in my bios to 1.85, i know that it can be off by 10%, but Sandra stated 1.92....with air cooling is it SAFE to leave it at this voltage??? at full load i was staying below 54C and idle about 33C with a comp temp of 32C........right now i went back down to 1.8 voltage which states 1.89 in Sandra,

for some reason i can't get to 1080 anymore...can only get about 1020........DAMN ( unless it is safe to use 1.85 with my FOP then i might )

As long as you have good cooling, you can get up and above 2 volts.
With your temps you should be fine, but if you go much higher, you might want to invest in a better hsf

actually when i bought the FOP38 i thought i was getting a WBK38...too bad i didn't :( well life moves on

i am thinking about watercooling with peltier or a vapochill and upgrade to a 1.3

I ran 2.00+ v with my duron and a FOP32 for a while and it worked great. Once I lapped the heatsink to a mirror finish my temps dropped 1-2c. The FOP32 is a good heatsink so I wouldn't worry about 1.92v. Most motherboards give a little more core voltage just to make sure the cpu runs stable.

Before my voltage mod my motherboard had a voltage difference like that. Some of us get lucky like that. If I set mine at 1.85, I was getting 1.97. Now I am able to get 2.17 but I am leary to go that high until I get better cooling. Good luck man!!
