1GHz Athlon AXIAR CPU
Abit KT7A-RAID, for sure, the best bang for the buck since SDram motherboards are like $40 CAN cheaper than DDR motherboards.
256MB PC133CL2 Ram

I would get a WBK38 for the bang for the buck award with any cheap C type chip!

My recomendations would have to be the:
1)1.2ghz w 266fsb Axiar core "y or k" around $100.00 various places on internet...
2)Epox 8K7a+ best ddr raid board for under $140.00
3) Crucial unbuffered ddr ram pc2100 (256 mb)49.00 a stick
4) Thermalright SK-6 Best cooler for the 45.00 pricetag..
This system would rock.. Just add 2 Ibm deskstar 40gb 60gxp's and ur set.. Hope this helps..
I'm currently building 3 systems identical to this one for Seti@home purposes.. Each one will be less than $600.00 And should overclock to the high 1.5ghz range using the newest bios from Epox with the /5 pci divider..
Hope this helps bro
