Looking for text scan/interpeter...

Fellow overclockers, I am looking for an English/Multilanguage software that can assist in scanning a text from a paper documant and transform it into a edable text format. Does anybody know the name of such program ? Thank you in advance.

Omnipage pro is pretty popular and works fairly well, depending on the quality of the source material and scanner.

my hp scanner does it automatically.... if you have an hp you might want to download thier newest software and see if it works for you. it also came with a program called readiris or something.... it worked pretty good too.

Thanks a lot guys, I have an old Umax scanner and will try to get a hold of omnipage software.

The Omnipage line is considered by most to be the best text converter. I have been using mine foe many years and have been very satisfied with it.
