Well, lately (I am only 16 and i have only 1 year experience in an electronics class, therefore, i dont understand a great deal of the information i read on microproc.. architecture.) I've been reading a book (The anatomy of a high performance microprocessor), and have been have trouble comprehending a lot of the tech information. I am new to computer architecture, anybody out there who knows a lot about it or could help me out with a few good links and/or online information about how decoders, pipelines, fpu, and other things work. Anybody who knows about computers always say things like "It executes 1.5 billion instructions per second" well in reality it doesnt "execute" them, i am only beginning to understand that too and need help there also. Any help would be greatly appreciated. E-mail me.. my aol sn is chickenfarmer321
