Sounds like a nice deal, but according to Maximum PC the OCZ PC4000 EL can't hit the claimed speed.It's rated at 500MHz and tapped out at 466MHz.

I read the same article. Also the second ones are already going for 185...add in the shipping and you are probably better off going with newegg

Audiman that is a great deal of FSB...but I thought many PC3500's could do 250FSB (well the good ones like HyperX and XMS). For some reason, I think it seems to be a little harder for AMD boards and memory to hit 250

My Corsair XMS doesn't even come near 250 FSB on the intel system, while on my AMD system it was doing 240 FSB @ 2-2-2-8 in DC.
