Went and bought a new PSU today Antec True Power 430w, now im able to hit some better OCs without worrying about volt fluxes.

Stats:
1800+ NIUHB
1.775vcore
11.5X219=2518mhz
Epox 8RDA(non plus)
TwinMos PC2700
Antec tru430 PSU

Idle:45 Load: 48
Watercooled by Danger Den Maze 4

Nice and Stable so far. Also very Quiet, loudest fan is 30dB(rad fan)

*UPDATE*
11.5x200=2500mhz
Ram NOW in sync 7 3 3 2.0 @2.77v
CPU Voltage Down to 1.75v

AWESOME overclock. Especially at the voltage you are giving it. I wanna see some benches if you don't mind. I know there are a LOT of chips out there doing this speed...but I wanna see yours at your FSB with only 1.775 volts

Dont have my nforce2 drivers installed due to my losing of 98 disc. The pic posted has a hexus pifast bench in the background, it now does 68.00s flat, this is in Windows 98...everythings slower in win 98 :( my XP Pro is broke for now, with a clean install of XP who knows what ill be pushing out.

For comparrison:
Hexus PiFast Bench:
2133mhz=79.38s<<XP
2133mhz=85.23s<<98
2518mhz=68.00s<<98

Man i want XP back :D

again...great o/c

where did you get this nasti chip?

What were your memory timings and Vdimm? Also, were you running the memory 1:1 or asynchronous?

Thanks

Picked this chip up at the local PC store for 75 bux retail boxed. I saw the DLT3C and NIUHB and sed i must buy this...glad i did.

My poor Twinmos 2700 cant handle much more than 200fsb w/o massive volts ie 2.8-2.9v. So i kept it down to 2.63v @ 185fsb, cas 2 precharge 3 ras to cas 6 the other one 3 :). Yes i run asynch but i dont care right now, mhz is my concern.

CPU interface- Agressive

You piqued my curiousity and I learned something new about my current motherboard. It doesn't seem to want to work in Asynch mode. I wanted to try to duplicate your setup and regardless of FSB, Multiplier, Dual vs Single Channel, Optimal vs Aggressive, one stick vs two sticks, 2-3-3-6 vs 2-2-2-6, etc. I could not get it to work at 120% IE 10x166 w/memory at 200. Worked fine with 10x200 100% though. My intent was to see if using the Asynch ratio, whether I could walk my Memory speed up above 200, but to no avail. I've never tried Asynch with any of my motherboards because I was concerned about the performance hit. When my NF7-S comes back on Friday, I'll see if it deals with Asynch any better. If it does and I can run the memory speed up above 200 Mhz, I'll see how 3D Mark 2001SE performance compares with the faster memory speed Asynch versus slower memory speed Synched. Thanks for the impetus.

them 1800's are almost matching the 1700's for o/c'n ;)

hey amd-me, i can't hit a fsb THAT high, i can only get mine to 208 w/o the comp just restarting w/o any warning, it just...restarts, im guessing that means it might be the psu...i only have a antec "smart power" 300 w, i should prolly upgrade, although the 3.3v and 5v combined watage is 180w, about the same as a 350 w, so i guess it could be considered a 350 w psu, but when it restarts like that, is it a chip that doesnt have a high enuff voltage, or just not enough juice from the psu? my niuhb specs are in my sig, most stable settings i can hit for now...

Get a new PSU, thats my advice, was only able to hit 2.2ghz range with my antec truepower 330w, now i bought a Antec Truepower 430w and problems fixed. Yes it is stable, no mods no upgraded cooling.

Man, is that ever sweet for air @ that voltage!

What week is your chip stepped as?

That just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I have one of those chips sitting here just waiting for my new WW block to get here so it can be used. Nice oc you have there.
