View Full Version : What FSB settings should i use on a kt7a-raid?

i can run stable in windows @ 1400, 133x 10.5... i cant seem to get the FSB above 133, and im using crucial cas2 ram... help?

dude....i can't use anything but like 100, 110, 133, 140 that is all that is stable with my OLD bios...haven't tried it on my new...try 140, if that doesn't work, just slowly go up from ONE in the cpu only multiplier

It may not have anything to do with your memory. It could be any one of your pci cards that is holding you back. The only way to find out ... overclock your machine one card at a time to find the culprit.

My KT7AR system will run at 143 FSB with no problems. At 146 I start to get HDD errors when transferring large files.

I also have a KT7AR and 256mb cas2 crucial mem... I can go up to 146 FSB with the mem set to cas3 and "8/10ns." I can go up to 143 with it set to cas2 turbo though. Your memory should be able to handle the FSB

140 x 7.5 for a Duron 800 @ 1050 - Abit KT7A-Raid with Fop32 ( WW Bios )

how are you getting to 140+, i used to be able to hit 155, but i forgot to write down how i did it, what are your BOIS settings.......... im starting to get angry, i cant get past 1400, not even by upping the FSB to 134...........

not that this helps but i have a 145*7 multiplier using the 140 base then going into the CPU multiplier setting and adding 5 more....i am not stable running 140*7.5, infact i won't get anything even on my screen NOTHING, just blackness, have to manually reset my CMOS....haven't figured that one out
