I run my TBird 1GHz at 1350 (135x10). I know to get better system performance I really ought to increase FSB. I'm using crucial PC133 Cas 2 memory. I seem to get a higher more stable FSB if I set the Bios to Cas 3 Latency. This I assume means the Ram is slower.

So I guess the question is which is better for performance a lower FSB with a lower Cas 2 Latency OR a higher FSB speed and a slower Cas 3 Latency ?

I think the higher FSB is preferable to the lower latency. FSB affects the entire system.

Crucial memory will usually overclock to at least 150MHz at cas2...mine will do 160cas2 (2x128meg + 1x256meg)...the problem is usually in the chipset...mine is limited to about 142MHz~146MHz depending on the VIO...

I'm about to get a new chipset cooler and see what happens...

My personal preference is lower latency with maxed out speed because of said chipset problem
