samsung ram

i have 2 sticks of Samsung Orignal 512mb PC2700

when i test the ram with Memtest-86 v30
with 6.3.3.2 on 166fsb on 2.6v

i get different speeds

1st stick gets Memory 512mb 800MB/s
2nd stick gets Memory 512mb 758MB/s
Thats on a asus nforce 2 motherboard
when in dual mode it gets ~1100MB/s


When i try both sticks in epox nforce 2 motherboard
1st stick gets Memory 512mb 758MB/s
1nd stick gets Memory 512mb 758MB/s
When running in dual mode it gets ~960MB/s


i have tryed running both sticks @ 170fsb
1st will fail
2nd will pass

i redone the test again on 166fsb
1st will fail on test #6, taken 11min to reach Test
#6
2nd also fail on test #6


something wrong with the motherboard or ram?


it looks like memory no good, how come on asus its running faster?

Are both motherboard bios up to date?

When you say the ram fail, do they get alot of errors, or does memtest crash?
