newegg.com has it for 162 oem
and egghead has it for 261.
even if the 261 is retail (im not sure) why the $100 difference?
fill me in on this please.
thanx
There is no real difference accept the extra $100 gets you a cheep heatsink and a better warranty. The chips themselves should be exactly the same. I woud never pay the $100 more.

Don't you know, it'll run $100 faster! :) At least Intel wishes people believed that.

I think all the 1.4's are AHYJA (something like that)
I oredered the 1.4 from newegg, and before that, called them to see if they new the stepping code of the chips they were sending out. They said taht they just send them, and dont pay attention to it. But i got it, and got a AYHJA Y, so i was pretty happy. You'd prolly get one too
Hope it helps

Yeah, I've been very happy with newegg. They price their chips right and have such a high turnover, they seem to get the newest steppings right away. My 1.33 is an AHYJA, and my (now chipped/burnt)1.2 was a week 5 AXIA when I bought it in March
