Well I think its time to put together another rig and was wondering what the consensus would be 2.4C or 2.6C?
All comments appreciated.

Well if you can find an M0 stepping 2.4 then that would be golden, but I see they are very hard to come by. Still either one would serve you well. The 2.6 would make it a little bit easier to squeeze more out of it without the need for ultra high-end ram.

Yeah the M0 are mostly luck I think. I was planning on going with the Buffalo PC3700, same as my present 2.4 c rig. Decisions, decisions

2.4c, no question! unless you have lesser ram! most 2.4c could do around 3.0-high 3.2 on air and that keep you ram in a pretty good bandwidth too! w/ 2.6c, you still top at/around the same high 3.2 or so on air (may be a tap higher but still not much), and that would much lower your memory bandwidth!
also, M0 isn't really o/c much better than others! but they do run much cooler than the older stepping tho! I have a 2.4c M0, in my WC setup, the older D1 ran about 12c above my mobo/system temp, but w/ the new M0, it's running only 5-7c above! that's running 2 SETI client! I think the M0 is much better for air cooling people as it runs quite a lot cooler! but still not much more head room in WC comparing to the older D1s. guess the current Northwood core is really maxed out!

Thanks guys,
I decided on the 2.4, just ordered it up along with a P4C800. Should have it running next week.
