Qustion about heater core

I got a heater core from a chevett. Do you know if its coper or aluminum? How can I tell? Sorry for the dumb question...to me it looks aluminum but just want to make sure.

If it is from a chevette it is brass and copper, not aluminum. Most heatercores are brass and copper.

If you look inside, it has lots of little copper fins. The outside is made of brass, to protect the copper.

cool. That is what I though...but the fact that it was lighter than expected threw me off.
