jpeg display problem 1.33GHz AYHJA in IE6

I thought these processors weren't having this problem anymore? Or is it an EI6 problem? Opera loads large images fine and I don't have any problems with Photoshop or the like. Suggestions? In case you don't know what I'm talking about, it's banding/distortion on (usually) high res images. I'll try attaching a GIF of an example.

probably went wrong from the point of IE 6 installation...ive never liked IE6, and never will...even with all the patches and updates...its still IE6...stick to good ol 5.5 ....no problems with it....try it.....im sure IE6 comes up in the Add/remove programs, so if the problem goes away after IE6 uninstallation, you've found yur culprit for screwing up those images

Thanks. Well, I decided to reinstall ie6 and clear the jpeg cache for the problem jpegs and voila! All's OK.
