I now have my new 1.33gig AYHJA "9" at 1.61gigs STABLE. I had to throw the vcore up to 1.98 but it's now stable at 11x146. Before I couldn't get my FSB above 144 so I took off my hsf on the chipset and cleaned it. I proceeded to lap it and found out that the damn thing was not flat by ANY means. This was why I couldn't get this badboy up there. Now I am stable and loving it. My MBM temps with the onboard CPU thermistor says 38 idle and 42 load but I don't trust it anymore. I am thinking of getting a compunurse or a temp probe of some kind soon, but I am stable as hell. God I love this stuff.

Nice overclock. My week 23 AYHJA (9) would only run at 11 * 144 with watercooling. I added a HS to the clock gen and got it up to 11 * 145 but that was with 2.04 volts.

I should note that the same chip is running at 1718 MHz @ 2.1 volts with dual 120 watt pelts.

What PSU you have for those pelts? I need a PSU for my 156watter.

I use a 49 pound, 35 amp Astron Queen Mother VLS-35M. The front panel mounted meters and controls are real handy. They make up for the size and cost. You can see it here. (http://www.astroncorp.com/w28.html)

Wooow...after burning in my TB 1333 at 1576 I'm at 1620 (12 x 135 @ 1.85 V) now........and stable........Will see if I can get more out of this baby. After the last BIOS upgrade (Ver 1.4) this MSI K7T 266 mobo is really great!

The best PSU for 156W pelts I have seen is the MFJ 4245-MV

They can do 45amps at 13.8 volts sustained, that will support two 156W pelts.

They run $180 and are small and light, you can pick them up from most Ham radio sales sites.

Here is one for you

Interesting, but will the 156W run properly on 13.8v at around 20a?

ya, they pull about 16amps each. If you only want one pelt you can find a cheaper and smaller amprage supply at the same kind of sites. I think you can pick up a nice 23amp supply for about $99, same 13.8V output.
