View Full Version : Can I go wrong with an ATI 9500 Pro right now?

I've found a few used ATI 9500 Pro's that seem to be good deals from respectable ebayers.

For under $175, is it worth picking up a 9500 Pro? What is the card's potential? I'll be replacing a 64mb ti4200 that's giving me headaches, and running on an AMD 2500 which is currently 100% stable as an AMD XP3200+

Thoughts and input are very welcome :D

No. 175$ is too much right now. Spend the extra 25-50$ and get a 9700 or 9800.

I agree that $175 is too high. I've seen one go for as little as $100 (now that was a deal fr the guy that got it

I think for 175 I'd rather have a 9800np, if you can still find one.

9800np's are a lot more than $175.

When I bought my 9500 Pro @ Christmas last year it was only $200 so I think $175 almost a year later is rediculious.

u can grab a Radeon 9700 pro for like 240$ [thats with shipping] so i mean save up a few more money backs and be just that much more happy. Its worth it..

I sold my 9700PRO over half year ago for only $225. Maybe next time I should first come here to sell things, so some of you may get "cheap" instead of someone else from ebay or yahoo.

Sounds kind of expensive for last generation's mid range card...
