I am looking for a video card under $200 bucks that will play C & C Generals. I was looking at this Asylum 256 and it looks good to me. This card is around $140 bucks. If not, then what card will play strategy based games like C & C Generals??

ummm most cards will do pretty good. what is your budget? stragetgy games don't require that much graphics power. The new 9600XT is a great card. if you need something cheaper than that you could get a ti 4200 and then overclock it. i am not sure, but it might even run cc on stock

what hes saying is get a faster cpu instead, itll help alot more. if your card is really old, the ti4200+ new cpu owns a fx5600 :)

The card says it runs at 280 mhz core clock speed with duel 350 ramdac and it has huge heatsink and fan on it. This card looks beefy. The memory on the chip is made by Samsung. The card has the Geeforce 5200 chipset on it with 256megs of DDR. $149.00

5200?!?! The 5200, even at higehr clocks, wont be much faster than your 7500. Buy a radeon 9600pro, it will be MUCH MUCH faster. Generals actualy does use a lot of graphics power.

i would grab a 9600 xt for that price range, avoid the 5200 its not a gaming card ;)

I suggest this (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?description=14-102-301)

Or this (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?description=14-102-326)

Both in your price range

give your cpu a good overclocking while you are at it. I have the same cpu and on an slk-800 she will do 2.47 GHz

Yeah. A FX 5200 256mb is a total waste of money. You can get a pretty nice card (the suggestions made by Evnas are right on), but the one you choose doesn't cut it.
