Hey ya'll I'm rather new to this homebuilt type stuff, and am going to be putting my 1.4 "AJ" thunderbird and Iwill KK266 mobo together in a few days when the rest of the componants arrive... I have test fitted the HSF (MC 462A yeah yeah I'm scared of the water....) and don't really want to have to do that over and over again... that thing is big... LOL Anyways, how can I get a good reliable CPU temp? does anyone know if the board will be able to read the on chip thermo? (there is one right?) or do I need to purchase and install one? Thanks yall.... Jim

Well I would suggest using Motherboard Monitor 5 for monitoring everything including temp and voltage. The T-bird doesn't have a temp sensor but the motherboard does. Motherboard monitor is probably the most accurate program to monitor your temps with.
