bought a duron 650 for $35 off of a FS/FT forum - put it in my 8K7A watercooled and it does 1215/2v stable - 35 friggin dollars.
Nice! I haven't seen many Durons go that high.
I hope I will be up there at 1200 with you in a few days. I have a duron 600 that will do 1104 aircooled at 2.05v. My goal has been 1200 or more. I should have my water cooling setup finished by the end of the week if all goes as planned. Once I get the water cooling working alright I might put a peltier on there and see what it does. Is your core an AKBA like mine by chance? Most AKBA durons overclock very well.
Nice overclock. Don't you wish you could get that kind of increase out of a Bird?

i believe it is an AKBA. will check when i pull it and put the t-bird back in. this is a backup chip. just blows me away how cheap big speed is these days.
The most I could get out of my backup AKBA was about 1080 and that was with pelts. The luck of the draw..........

I bought a Duron 800 Guarenteed to 1000Mhz for £36 which is like $45-50, I paid extra for it to be tested. Was definately worth it, mine hits 1000Mhz easy and I could do 1050Mhz if my PSU wasn't so weak (Get random lockups even with temp low). Shame the fricken motherboard is soooo expensive (£100 for a KT7A, I could almost buy 3Ghz worth in processing power for that!)
