I had an old duron 750 @ 200MHz lying around so i thought why not try to overclock it? i took steps of 2-3 MHz at a time and tested it's stability for about an hour at every different speed. it runs ROCK STABLE @ 929 with 1.75 vcore and a really BAD HSF. Any other frequency above that crashes in windows :( . The full load temp is 50-51 degrees C (with full load i mean playing diablo 2 expansion for about 4 hours and before that running sisoft sandra 2001 burn in wizard for about 1 hour) that was so easy!!! I LOVE AMD!!!!! now i'm gonna get a better HSF and try to get over 950 MHz.

ps. the cpu's stepping is AKCA and the third line begins with a letter not a number but i don't remember which . does anybody know if it's a good stepping?

Not to criticize, but to inform: I doubt D2 & sandra2k1 burn put full load on CPU. CPUBurn has given the highest temps for me sofar, as it's very small (different exes for each cpu type), so it fits nicely in the L2 cache.

Nice OC, btw :)

Sorry for the late reply.

I started a thread conserning proggies & load temperatures: http://forums.overclockers.ws/forums/UltraBoard.cgi?action=Read&BID=17&TID=5446&SID=127185

I hope that helps.
