Not in Kansas right now, but that's where my heart is :)

I lived there for 5 years from Preschool to 4th grade, and I love that state (In fact, Whichita's where I lived... Right by McConnell AFB :) Where you at IFMU?) I'm hoping to move back one of these days when I finally move out of my parent's house.

PS: How was tornado season this year?

Well, let me tell you it's better than Oregon :D There you guys at least get thunderstorms. Here there are 3 types of weather: Sunny (10% of the time), 100% overcast (picture to illustrate (http://www.weatherpictures.50g.com/pictures/2003/11/11112003001.jpg).. 45% of the time), 100% overcast & drizzling (45% of the time).

I'd kill to see lightning again ;) Last time I saw lightning (not counting when we drove through the midwest to see my grandparents earlier this year :D) was 3 years ago

...Time to mapquest you and find where you live :p

I'm in Newton, which is close to Wichita. I bet none of you have even been to Newton, but, I don't blame you :) Weekends work for me, but it would need to happen before January, becuase I am busy every waking moment I have in January and February. Let me know,
Scott

Yes, I have been to newton because of high school and KIDS club wrestling. I have been all over kansas because of that.

While I don't actually live in Kansas, I do work in Lenexa. I wouldn't mind getting together if the drive wasn't too far, ie. drive < 1 hr.

Saturdays are the only time that work for me.

I'm in Pratt, west of Wichita 1.5 hrs, but doubt I would be able to attend due to my work schedule.

Hehehe... JigPu, you can get all the thunder storms you want on the other side of the Cascades. We see 'em frequently over the mountains in Klamath Falls durring the summer. Sometimes they cruise over and rumble for us too.

True, eastern Oregon does have thunderstorms... In fact, I saw my first Oregon storm while camping over there. I just couldn't stay in the tent :D
