I thought I had heard Intel was gonna drop prices on their processors this quarter. Any news on when or if this is gonna happen?
I'm getting ready to purchase.....

They just did a month or so ago. I think you can get a 2.6c right now for under $200 ($175'ish). 2.8's prolly aren't much higher. Check out newegg.com, they've got some of the better prices I've seen lately.

Intel Already dropped prices on the 26th of October
The next drop wont come till janurary or Feburary i beleive.

Yea, I don't think they're dropping prices again until the Prescotts come out.

Ahh, ok. I've been a little out of touch for the last few weeks.

That means all lights are green come monday. So, monday I will begin pricing on 10 or so new rigs.
