I resized a second window in IE for a one time task (made a real tiny one so I could see the other items on the same screen). Now when I select open in a new window, the new window is always real tiny.

I tried dragging the size larger, and closing.
I tried using the size feature, and closing.
I tried both of the above followed by maximizing and minimize then close.

What do I need to do to make IE remember the correct window size for new windows???

(feeling like a dummy right now, thanks for the help)

The first window that opens when you run IE sets the size for all other windows.

So if you have your first window maximized, unmaximize it and resize it to a good size. Press Ctrl+N and a new window will pop up the same size as the original. ;)

The status bar at the bottom of the IE window is also set this way.
