Desert Combat .5 Server!

I am trying to get up a decidated desert combat .5 server. I dont have another copy of the disc, so is there anyway to run the server without the disc, because i just tried it and it wont load up the next level without the disc in the computer and i am using the disc on my other computer to play.

yeah it works, cd1 in server and cd2 in my gaming machine. thanks. I never thought of doing it that way, basically i did not know that you could.

Just so any other people read this, most developers make the games accept either disc nowadays.

or you could download a no cd hack since its legal to do so as long as you own the game so then you dont need a cd...and if i went against the rules im sorry speedj

Another way of doing it which is the way I do it for the OCG squad server is copy the disk to a Virtual drive using clone cd or other driving cloning software and then have the game run from that. It saves you from having the disk in all the time reducing wear and tear and also system resources used for accessing the disk every map. As you leagaly own the disks this is a exceptable method.
