I have a SLK-900U that I bought about 4 months ago from SVC. During my last motherboard swap I managed to lose one of the spring loaded screws that attaches the HS to the Mobo. I emailed Thermalright requesting a general description of the screws so I could pick one up at home depot, Lowes, etc. If this was not possible I requested a price so I could buy one from Thermalright. Remember that I said that I LOST one of the ones that came with the HS.

Well, about 2 days after my email I received a reply that a new set of screws was in the mail and I should receive them shortly:D. They got here 2 days after the email. Thermalright rocks!! I got 4 screws instead of the 1 I had requested,at no cost even though it was my fault that I was 1 short, in less than a week.

I will be getting the new SP-97 as soon as it comes out without a doubt! Thermal right is to manufactures as Newegg is to retailers :D .

Not only did they care about me, they weny above and beyond what I asked for. Although I admit they did exactly what I had hoped for, but I did not request it. I really only wanted to know where I could acquire the said screw.

I've always got 5 of each part (screw, spring and washers) in each SLK800 or SLK900 that I've bought. Thermalright does right, right out of the box!

I remember Sonny had a similar story with his Thermalright HS quite a while back. It's nice to know that customer service is still a priority for some companies.

They are actually very very good, I had a customer with a SK-7 which had the mounting clips in backwards, he contaced thermalright directly and 4 days later he got an SLK 800a !!!!
