Hello!! Since i dont understand nothing of overclocking, how can i overclock my AMD Duron 750 MHz, in the system BIOS? I have 256 MB of RAM and my motherboard is MSI K7T Pro2.
By the way my system does not restart when I change the CPU clock ratio to 8 x, in the BIOS SETUP! Why???

Thanx!

I think it uses the same BIOS as mine, so there should be a choice of clock freq. and multiplyer. Your manual that came with this M/B should describe in deatil how to change these. Your final speed for your CPU is FSB x Multiplyer. Make sure your temps are not that high, watch for anything over 55c.

Firstly you will need to unlock the L1's. If you don't know how there are some guides in the beginners section.
The MSI boards require a hard boot to initiate the new setting which is done like this;
set multiplier, voltage, FSB - F10 to save - save - cut the power to the mobo via the case switch and then switch on again. It should post at the correct speed, if not repeat the power off sequence. If the machine appears dead it can be brought back to life on most occassions by depressing the 'insert' key when powering on using your normal power button. If all else fails clear your CMOS WITH THE POWER CORD DISCONNECTED.
