OK. I had/have this situation, and because they are some of the most popular, im sure alot of others do too...and this is what i got.
When running 1:1 my system isnt stable to me past 210 frequency (24hrs prime95/SiSoft/memtest86). So ill max out at 2.5__, i forget havent done 1:1 in a while.
When running 5:4 my system is stable at 3.1 with fsb a little over 257 and frequency 205ish.
Last night runnign 3:2 i got to 3.45 with fsb of around 300 and frequency obviously of 200....i was drunk so i dun remember exact numbers.
My question is, if your memory/cpu can handle the fsb that high, why isnt everyone running @ 3:2? Is there some downside to running the ratio at 3:2 i havent read?
